totum lamp

A large, solid base made from a chunk of hard wood which was laboriously cut from a larger tree trunk washed up on Druidstone beach in Pembrokeshire. The neck of the lamp is made from a selection of smaller, bleached pieces from various sources.

The lamp measures 73cm from base to shade and has a circumference of 40cm. It looks good as a standalone piece against a simple background as it casts some interesting shadows.
